What do I think I will find out about this disaster?
Who survived.
1 The plane was heading on a sightseeing trip around Antarctica seeing Mcurdo sound and Scott base.
2 Captain Jim Collins and first officer Greg Cossin
3 The Pilot asked to descend to 450m so that the passenger could have a better view
4 The co-Pilot weren't told about the course change. There was also a ehite out wich meant
they couldn't tell the difference between the sky land and snow
5 Date: November 28th 12.

the flight crew says that they cant see anything because its too snowy
The alarm was saying go up and they tried but it didn't go up

The Air New Zealand DC-10 Flight 901 left Auckland on the morning of
28th November 1979 – destination: Antarctica. The passengers hoped
to see icebergs, penguins, snowy islands and magical mountains on
the 11 hour trip.
